Micurio makes online collection sharing easy and fun.

Micurio is the premier global site for sharing collections of all interests and genres. Micurio’s free user accounts allow its members to post photos and descriptions of their collectibles, comment on others’ collections, buy and sell items, create “want lists” and participate in message boards with collectors around the world.

Here are tips for how to use Micurio:

1. Create a Free Account. Click JOIN and complete the simple registration. If you are already a member, LOG IN to view your account.

2. View and Comment on Collections. No matter where you are on the site, you can click the top Micurio logo to go to the home page. From the left-hand column you can click on any collecting category or sub-category to view collections. If you are logged in while viewing, you can leave comments on any item or collection.

3. Create a Collection. After you log in, you'll see your myMICURIO column on the left. Click CREATE COLLECTION. Enter a title, choose the category where you want your collection to appear and attach an image that represents your collection. After you click Create, you’ll be prompted to add individual item descriptions and photos to your collection. Note: Micurio will automatically resize your images to a max of 640x640 pixels. If your loading time is slow, you may try resizing the images first or using the low resolution setting on your camera.

4. Edit Your Collection(s). In the myMICURIO left-hand column, click on the collection you want to edit. Use the EDIT button to change information about your collection as a whole. To change individual item information, scroll down to see your items and use the item's EDIT button.

5. Mark items For Sale or Wanted. If you’re interested in selling part or all of your collection, you can mark items “For Sale” and note a price that other users will see. From your myMICURIO page, click on a collection and scroll down to see your items. Click the EDIT button on the item you want to sell. You’ll find a box to check to mark it “For Sale.” You’ll also see that there’s a box to check to list an item that is Wanted. Use the ADD ITEM function to enter the title of the item wanted and then check the Wanted box. Once you have marked an item "For Sale" or "Wanted, users can contact you about those items.

6. Create Your Profile. Complete a Collector Profile so other members can learn about your interests, browse your collections, link to your personal web site, or drop you a message. Your personal URL will be http://www.micurio.com/(your username). Click on the myMICURIO link to edit your profile.

7. Talk to Other Collectors. Join in the Micurio MESSAGE BOARDS to talk with collectors about a range of topics in any collecting category. If you don’t find a forum that fits you, create your own.

8. Track Your Message Board Threads. When you are reading a Message Board topic and want to see replies without having to keep checking back on it, simply click the Monitor Thread link at the upper right of the page and updates will automatically show up on your myMICURIO page.
